The story of progetto began more than 17 years ago with a focus on distributing, designing, and installing Fantoni acoustic panels. Over time, we grew into a full-service interior design company, developing a system that allows us to manage the entire cycle – from concept and planning to implementation and final delivery. Today, we take full responsibility for every stage of the process, ensuring quality and consistency from start to finish.
Our name reflects our roots. With many of our early partners coming from Southern Europe, the founders chose the name progetto — the Italian word for “project.” This name not only honors our beginnings but also embodies our philosophy: to create interiors that are thoughtful, purposeful, and enduring. Every project we take on is designed to stand the test of time.

In 2008, friends and colleagues Valters Stūris and Mareks Berkolds (1976–2022) set out to develop their shared vision. Together, they founded progetto, bringing fresh and unconventional approaches to serving architects and builders. What began as a bold idea has grown into a recognized and trusted company, valued by Latvia’s architects, developers, and design professionals for its reliability, creativity, and dedication to quality.
Opened in Riga in 2016, Mokka is an interior design showroom that invites visitors into a world of style and inspiration. It is a meeting place for design enthusiasts who appreciate premium Scandinavian and Italian furniture, interior elements, accessories, and lighting, creating interiors that reflect both taste and lifestyle.
Since 2023, Design Box has been an interior goods showroom and the first—and only—official representative of Kave Home in Latvia. With a focus on quality at a reasonable price, Design Box makes stylish design pieces accessible for every home. For beautiful things in everyday life.
